Ontological Whole-Life Coaching

What I offer is years of experience walking alongside people and groups on a journey through liminal space, that is the place a person is in during a transitional period…

Where one thing ends and another is about to begin…the space between.

While credentials are important, experience is vital. I have endured loss, chaos, betrayal, bad decisions, complex health challenges, addiction, desperation and trauma. I am 67 years old, married for 37 years and father of twins. I have had a mindfulness practice for 40 years and a recovery practice for 38 years. I have had a rich and powerful life and am passionate about offering my hard earned lessons and skills to support people and help lead them to repair, life balance and self care.

I am a skilled facilitator and guide that you can trust to add value. I would be happy to meet with you on request either in person or on Zoom to get to know each other.

My areas of expertise include the following:

Anxiety/Panic disorder, Stress, Addiction, PTSD and Trauma, LGBTQ Parenting, Mindfulness Meditation, Body Wisdom Practices, Death and Dying, Career TransitionMarriage/Divorce/Family, Psychedelic Integration, Aging and Mens Issues.

The Ontological Approach

The essence of an ontological approach to life, coaching and leadership is about becoming a different and more powerful Observer. The meaning of "power" in this context is the ability to take more effective action in order to live a more mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually enriched life, in which we can contribute more to others and the betterment of the world.

We can only participate in a world that we observe and how we observe is generated from our Way of Being. The ontological approach focuses on the potential for transforming our Way of Being, which includes its expansion and deepening, as a path to participating in a more meaningful and fulfilling manner in everyday life.

One of my specialities is to work with primary care physicians as a referral source for emotional well-being to support their medical care for patients that need someone to talk to. As an emotional wellness facilitator, I offer integrated, constructive, actionable practices to help clients transform conflict within and without, build boundaries and create a sense of sovereignty.
